So, in October 2013... the government was been shut down (how do you really even do that anyway??) yet, the US treasury released a new $100 bill! A bill that is almost 5 cents more per bill to make than the last one... with over 800 million hundos in circulation now, it would cost us over $40 mil just to replace them all. Not only are we pending financial meltdown (or has it already happened?) but now we are spending more just to make our currency! That's crazy but hey... that's life.
The good news is, this new bill will help curb counterfeit Benjies which are the most commonly counterfeited bills right now. In countries with high inflation, our currency is preferred bc of the many ways you can tell if it's real or not. The new bill will have a 3d ribbon with holographic images, which I think makes it look tacky but who am I to design currency... I just spend it.
