New Tesla Model S P85D has Amazing Tricks!

Tesla Model S P85D AWD and auto-pilot demo

Tesla claims a 3.2 second 0-60 mph run if you opt for the highest-spec P85D but what’s even cooler is the fact that this beast can drive itself too!  Not just the parallel park assist that we have been seeing lately, but full out even coming to meet you!
"Even though the car could drive itself, the levels of redundancy are not there for full-autonomy,” Musk said. “We’re essentially going to push the limits of what’s safe with this hardware, and what’s available with the current regulations.”
More specs here.

Makes you think of what more we will see about cars that can drive themselves… what about taxi cabs and 18-wheelers… what will happen to all the driving jobs out there? Just a thought… check out this post for more on that topic.

Thanks for reading!

2 Teachers Arrested... You Won't Believe Why... [Video]

KENNER, La. —Two Destrehan teachers are now facing felony charges this week for their alleged relationship with a 16-year-old student...

Many people are unaffected by this news... in fact, some are wondering "Where were these teachers when I was in school?"... lol, no seriously, I just read that comment.

But let's play a game where we flip the gender roles and 2 male teachers end up in a 3-some with a 16 year old girl...  Now you get why this is a very important story to follow because these are felony charges that these teachers face.  One of the teachers is even married which leads me to wonder if there really is any hope for the direction our country is headed?

Don't get me wrong, I know this story isn't gonna change the world or plant more trees, but it is something that makes you sit back and check your own moral code and perceptions about equality and justice.

Feel free to comment below and share this outlandish story with others.

Armed Police Raid #Ferguson Church to Take Tear-Gas Aid

I can't believe what I'm hearing... it literally sounds like a page from the civil rights movement when MLK was alive.  With me, it's not about a black or white thing... it's about a right thing.

60 yards of roses in memorial to Michael Brown
Honestly, take a step back for a second...

If a cop shot someone and there is this much controversy over it, there should be a legit investigation.  It's called "due process".  Instead, the officer Darren Wilson, has started a crowdsource page on GoFundMe and has raised over $230,000 for his family... as of now and this doesn't strictly mean for legal fees... remember the Travon Martin case? The amount of money that Zimmerman raised was sickening... here goes history, repeating itself until they get the riot they are looking for.

Wow... maybe I shoulda got a crowd source page after that speeding ticket I got back in April...

And now, get this, armed police have raided a church (a place usually off limits to military and state government) to confiscate Maalox.... F'N MAALOX! You know the antacid for your tummy... well turns out that and water mixed together makes for one killer tear-gas aid!  Nice to know... I'll be ordering a pallet on Monday....

The craziest thing that I found is clear evidence that our youth and the people with power in this country are under some spell.  Looking at this facebook post, Lindsay Lohan's page has put out an Ice Bucket Challenge video with a #ferguson tag...  What?!? I mean, nothing else about the case... no supportive words or motivational thoughts?  just #ferguson ... clear distraction for those looking up news on the Ferguson events.

We as entire culture need to #wakeup! We are being desensitized to events that would normally cause us all to rise up and say "Hold Up!"

An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere!

Voice your opinion, no matter what it is... because if you are not part of the solution you are the problem...

and if you side with the officer then help everyone else understand why...

Video of Zaire Holmes, Winner of Juicy J's $50,000 Twerk Scholarship

Juicy J announced Zaire Holmes as the winner of his $50,000 Twerk Scholarship. Holmes is a 19-year-old student biology student at State College of Florida.
Holmes did NOT twerk in her application video.

“A lot of people thought that you had to twerk,” she said to Juicy J during his announcement video. "But you actually had to read the rules.”

“Read the rules,” Juicy J says. "See, that’s what you get for shakin’ your ass, thinkin’ you’re gonna get some money. It’s not always about shakin’ your ass."

Haha, all the girls out there that were twerkin' for funds must feel lost as hell right now...  Dang Juicy J, you ain't have to expose em like that!!

I hope this brings up a good point to them about the importance READING.  They say it's fundamental... never knew you would miss out on $50k bc you didn't read.  Then again it was a good excuse for some to let it all out and claim it's in the name of trying to win a scholarship lol.

Hey I just call it as I see it... #roddydontjudge

Charlotte Hornets are Back, New Logo Revealed!

Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan announced that the franchise has officially submitted paperwork to the NBA to change its name to the "Hornets" for the 2014-15 season. Can't afford tickets? Make money online with me...

Michael Jordan is also expecting twins! But anyways...

"Let's bring the buzz back," Jordan said at a press conference, noting that "overwhelming" fan support for the switch influenced the organization's decision.

The franchise also launched BackBuzzCity.com to celebrate the re-branding and manage interest from fans interested in season tickets.

"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand," Jordan wrote in a letter to fans. "We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor."

Jordan also said that his organization will begin a "year-long process" to select the team's colors and design the team's logo and uniforms.

Multiple reports in the past week indicated plans were underway to bring the "Hornets" nickname back to Charlotte after the original Hornets relocated to New Orleans in 2002. The New Orleans Hornets unveiled a re-branding in January and took on the "Pelicans" moniker immediately following the conclusion of the 2012-13 regular season, freeing up the Hornets nickname.

The original Hornets joined the NBA as an expansion franchise in 1988 and spent 14 seasons in Charlotte before being moved to New Orleans by former owner George Shinn in 2002. Shinn opted to keep the nickname but eventually sold the franchise to the NBA in 2010. In April 2012, the league in turn sold the franchise to Tom Benson, who sought the Pelicans name change to better reflect the team's home.

"It was very important to me and our staff that we change the name of this club to something that represented New Orleans, Louisiana," Benson said in a promotional video. "We worked on it. It wasn't something that just came out of the blue, overnight. We worked on it for a long period of time. You just can't have a better name for Louisiana and New Orleans than the Pelican. It's the perfect representative."

The Bobcats joined the NBA as an expansion franchise in 2004. Jordan purchased a majority stake in the Bobcats in 2010. Last June, the Bobcats released new jersey designs, removing the pinstripes and changing the team's moniker on its white home jersey from "Bobcats" to "Cats."

While Bobcats are indigenous to the Carolinas, the Charlotte Observer noted back in December that the "Charlotte Hornets" moniker drew its inspiration from the 1700s. The Hornets nickname in Charlotte dates back to the Revolutionary War, when British General Charles Cornwallis compared the resistance in Charlotte to a hornet's nest. It has been used in sports by a minor league baseball team (1901-73), an upstart football league team (1974-75) and the city's first NBA franchise.

The Bobcats, who finished the 2012-13 season with the second-worst record in the league at 21-61, have finished with a winning record just once and have made just one playoff appearance during their nine-year franchise history. The Hornets finished with a winning record eight times and qualified for the playoffs seven times during their 14 seasons in Charlotte, advancing out of the first round on four occasions.

?uestlove Participates In Vh1 Soul Train Documentary February 8, 2010 at 3:12 PM

Soul Train inspired many and in honor of the show, Vg1 aired a documentary on the iconic television music program. For years, folks witnessed soul acts and dancers take the Soul Train stage. One of those people, inspired by the show's greatness was The Roots' drummer ?uestlove. He recently took part in the documentary but also shared his thoughts on it, speaking with Steven Kurutz.

“I never missed an episode," he said, according to Speak Easy. Even when it was re-run time, I still studied it. That was the only place where I could see people who looked like me playing music. You would always catch mainstream artists like Stevie Wonder on the Grammys. But all t! hose under-the-radar soul acts, this was the only place that you could find them. It wasn’t like you’re going to see the Ohio Players on American Bandstand. I definitely knew of the Main Ingredient because of Soul Train. I didn’t know of Sylvia Robinson before Soul Train."

He also explained that the show is tied to various childhood memories, including his first time seeing Rap on television.

"Between ‘73 and ’75, it came on at 12 in the afternoon. But then ‘75 to about ’79, it started coming on at 1am after Saturday Night Live went off the air. My parents still woke me up to watch it, which was kind of strange because they they were anti-television. I couldn’t watch TV as a toddler. So all my childhood memories are tied to this show. First time I got Crayola crayons, Sugarfoot was playing with the Ohio Players in 1974 with a double-neck guitar. The first time I! saw rap music on TV was Soul Train. There was a peri! od in &l squo;86 when I was on punishment for a month and I knew Run DMC was coming on. I’d have to coordinate during the week with neighbors, Mission Impossible-style, for me to open up my bathroom window and look through their bedroom and see Run-DMC."

He added that he takes lessons learned from the show to his new gig on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

"I’m trying to take lessons that I learned from Soul Train and apply it to [Late Night With Jimmy Fallon], especially with the artists we’re embracing. We have to reinvest in the music. Okay, we can bring the show back but who in black music is doing music so inspirational as to make one or two seasons of Soul Train? We’re one band. If this were the ‘70s, we’d be one of a jillion bands.”

No need to look through the neighbor's bedroom windows, the Soul Train interview with Run DMC is below.
